Roofman stars Kirsten Dunst and Channing Tatum got dressy-casual for the film’s digital release, which is exactly the level one should dress at for one’s digital release, we’d say. Honestly, no notes. We’ve long established our dislike of black-backed florals but we tend to make an exception for ones where the color story is simple and neutral and the scale is elegant instead of overwhelming. This nicely fits the bill and it helps that she looks great in black. The print has such a high impact that it allows her to keep the styling at the low-key level she prefers. As for him, we’re seeing too many guys in zip-ups with undershirts lately, but this slightly unusual shirt-jacket manages to elevate the look.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Based on an unbelievable true story, Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman. After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. But when he falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mom drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.
