Every time we encounter anything having to do with Ella McKay, we can’t stop obsessing over the fact that James L. Brooks wrote the script specifically with Emma Mackey in mind and then just gave her character roughly the same name. Anyway, Emma Mackey, star of Ella McKay, joined her co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Jack Lowden for the special screening in London.

This is fine, in the sense that it gets the job done and doesn’t ask too much of her, but we think the styling is off. For one, a white dress doesn’t always pair well with sheer black tights, especially if the hem hits below the knee. Second, she could’ve used a brooch or some sort of statement jewelry to help set this off, although the earrings are lovely.

Yeah, no. There are tricky skirts (which we tend to hate) and then there are table runners (about which we are ambivalent except when someone tries to wear one as a skirt). Nice jacket, though.

This is perfect dressy-casual guy style: layers, colors, textures and patterns, all subtly deployed. The boots and the watch are drool worthy. The hair is perfectly styled.
