Taylor Swift got herself cinched up for life and headed on over to Seth Meyers’ place to talk all things Showgirl.

Whenever we feature her on a talk show, there’s always talk about how insanely perfect her posture is – and it is! – but it’s at least partially due to the fact that she chooses outfits that absolutely will not allow her to slump in her seat for a second. Like, it’s nearly impossible to sit in this without being ramrod straight, with your legs firmly crossed. Or put more accurately, it’s possible to sit in a relaxed manner wearing this, but you’re going to look absolutely terrible. This is essentially Taylor’s highly developed sense of discipline and control in fashion form. The colors and scale of the floral are pretty low-key, which means this won’t be an instance of us talking about how we hate black-backed florals. This one’s pretty. But the outfit doesn’t look remotely comfortable to wear, and we think it’s limiting her a little. The shoes are very cute but, like the collar, don’t really coordinate that well with the outfit.
