Jennifer Lopez has a buzzy movie with serious awards consideration coming out and we just want to take this moment to thank the content goddesses for providing us with this bounty. If she gets nominated for something like a People’s Choice or a Golden Globe, then baby, that’ll fuel her efforts right up to the front door of the Oscars ceremony. Fingers crossed. Anyway, let’s check in on what this diva and would-be prestige actress is wearing as she heads out to promote Kiss of the Spiderwoman.
In Ralph Lauren at a Press Junket
By the way, we should note that when we put this post on the blog roster for today some time around 6 am, this was supposed to be the only outfit in it. But your girl is busy and in the hours since, a whole slew of outfits and pictures popped up. This is cute; smart, very autumnal, and perfect for press days. The little ascot is a pleasant surprise.
At THE TODAY SHOW Studios
This has got that chic New Yorker vibe that she occasionally pulls off very well. We love the leather pieces. The pants are dramatic, but they need a hemming. Still, it’s nice to see her working looks that have a little practicality to them. Granted, we would be fools to think she’s going to spend this tour in sharp jackets and pants.
In Harith Hashim at the LIVE WITH KELLY AND MARK Studios
Because of course she’s going to wear a tight dress with faux fur trim at some point. The dress is gorgeous, the cuffs are dumb, the shoes don’t go. She should have gotten a pair to match the bag.
Leaving the LIVE WITH KELLY AND MARK Studios
There’s only so much brown you can expect J Lo to wear in any given week. Still, we’re a bit surprised to see her sporting such bright, intense colors. She loves herself a neutral more often than not. We’re afraid the skirt looks kind of ugly to our eyes. The shades and hat are cute, but pretty much everything else can go.
