It was a family affair (sort of) at the New York screening of Kiss of the Spider Woman, as star Jennifer Lopez was joined by ex-husband Ben Affleck and her kids Max and Emme.

Her co-star Tonatiuh was also there, but the poor guy was all but shoved out of the frame.

But we love his look. It’s chic and elegant, although we don’t think the ascot necessarily works with the tux and we also think the browns needed to either match better or be further apart in shade.

We’ll say it: these two are weird. Untangle yourselves and move on. Every time they’re in public together, he’s always looming over her or insistently yammering at her. He hates being in public! You’re not married! What the hell is he doing there?

It’s a genuinely interesting design, as most of Harris Reed’s output tends to be. We don’t mind the giant pincer element (sort of spider-themed, we guess), but it feels so incongruous with the rest of the design. Take that away and she’s wearing a lovely, understated gown. Put it back and she’s wearing a lovely, understated gown with this huge thing attached to it that does nothing for it. We feel like the gown needed to be black for this effect to work.
