We’ve been buried under red carpetry all day long and while we’ll always be grateful to the content goddesses for blessing us with this bounty, we also need to go eat something and recharge our bitch batteries, so we’re gonna have you make the final call on this one. We say that every time, as if you all don’t get the final call on every post here, but we like to pretend we’re being magnanimous. We also tend to say we need a break and then go on to write a post as long as all the others. It’s all theater, darlings. Anyway, here’s Tessa Thompson at the BFI London Film Festival premiere of Hedda, dressed in paper towels.
Or maybe it’s wadded up bedding. Whatever it is, it’s kind of odd, but also kind of striking, no? We have less of an issue with the textile as we do with the shape and the proportions. That neckline is too high and the skirt is giving diaper. On the other hand, the beat is FLAWLESS and that goes a long way. As we said, the final call is up to y’all, so let’s hear it:
