From a style perspective, it seems unlikely that 100 Nights of Hero stars Felicity Jones, Emma Corrin and Maika Monroe coordinated their looks for the BFI London premiere, which were all over the fashion design map. On the other hand, they all settled on weird, mostly colorless looks, so we guess you could call it theme-dressing of a sort. Let’s judge.
Felicity Jones in Erdem
As always, she takes the “I’ll just put on a dress” route to her red carpet look. She rarely styles herself up to the level of the high-end pieces she’s wearing. That hair is doing nothing for the dress. Granted, the dress is already trying to do way too much on its own. It’s wildly overdesigned. Edit about 2/3 of the design elements out and it could be pretty.
Emma Corrin in Miu Miu
It’s funny. We actually did burst out laughing and we think they were going for that. How could they not? You can’t wear a ’50s housewife apron over a ’90s lady lawyer bottom and not be winking at us at least a little, right? Granted, it sure looks like they’re taking this seriously, but maybe that’s part of the bit. It looks terrible, of course, but me might have actually appreciated it if we felt like there was some point to it.
Maika Monroe in Valentino
Beige gowns really should be against the law. Also, that’s some Halloween night makeup you’re sporting there, girl.
