Good Lady Cate had herself a busy weekend at the Venice Film Festival (all of which will or has been covered here, of course) including a stop at the photo call for her film Father Mother Sister Brother, where she got back in touch with her edgy side. Unfortunately, we hate it.

Starting off with the proviso that this is a photo call and she’s in no way obligated to do any more effort than this, we think the outfit fails because the top is so strong and the bottom half is so generic and uninteresting as to be completely forgettable. Those sad pants actually drag that top down. Personally, we’d have just paired the top with light-wash jeans and called it a day. We also think it should be fully zipped.
