Congratulations to The Pitt star Katherine LaNasa. Unfortunately, this career milestone has been tarnished because we hate her dress. We’re sure that’s very upsetting to her, but at least she got an Emmy out of the deal.
The skirt and train are fine, if a little basic. It seems like a back slit and a train are working at cross-purposes, but that’s not really a dealbreaker for us. You know what is. After nearly two decades of us decrying the dreaded boob bow, it persists in the world of red carpet fashion. This might be one of the worst offenders, because it’s literally wrapping them up in a giant bow; one that looks more appropriate for a wreath than a dress. According to Jason Wu, the bow is meant to represent the scrubs worn by healthcare workers, but that strikes us as an extremely tenuous connection to any theme or homage.
