We suppose it’s a given that the cast of The Summer I Turned Pretty would be young and pretty. They all got gussied up (more than we would have expected, honestly) for the season 3 “finale event.”

We guess if a season finale of a streaming show now gets treated like an Oscar campaign red carpet, who are we to complain? More content for us. Let’s get judgy.
Gavin Casalegno in Dolce & Gabbana
We’d love this without the pussy bow. Not because we want him to dress more masculine, but because the open neckline would work so much better without all that fuss.
Lola Tung in Kaufmanfranco
She looks beautiful and it’s a killer dress. She could’ve used a better fit in the bust.
Christopher Briney in Balmain
Love that he sported a bag, but any lady star will tell you not to pose wearing it like that. The “tie” kind of amuses us because any attempt to make a simple tie edgier or more metal always looks a little goofy to us. Having said that, it’s a genuinely interesting spin on the form and we can understand why a young guy might want to give it a shot. The footwear is a little goofy, but we’d like to see it with a more casual outfit.
Sean Kaufman
It’s a gorgeous coat and if a young male star wants to dress up like an international hit man for his Paris photo call, we can only say “Attaboy” in response.
Rain Spencer
No arguments here. We really like that champagne hue, but it’s not the best choice for white blondes. The hair looks a little too causal for the dress, but that’s always a problem when you put a gown on for a daytime photo call.
Rachel Blanchard
Sharp and unassailable.
Jackie Chung in Sau Lee
The dress is sharp but it’s the hair that makes the look.
