A whole bunch of stars got dressed up to show how much they care for women at the Kering Foundation’s annual “Caring For Women” Dinner. Let’s assess just how much everyone cared, yes?

Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman (in Marchesa)

We’ve never seen her wear or design anything as basic as that. It’s fine, but the long asymmetrical hem looks odd on a strapless dress. He’s doing okay.

The coat is way too heavy for this time of year and she’s a void in pictures. No idea what’s hanging off her hand.

Colman Domingo in Valentino

Looks great, but that belt situation is dumb.

Don’t be mad at us, but this is a sheer dress design that actually looks interesting. The underwear tends to break it up too much, which is we’d have suggested a bodysuit instead, but we like how it almost looks like tattoos instead of lace.

Demi Moore in Gucci

Can’t argue with a bit of that.

Jessica Chastain in Gucci

As a design, it’s pretty boring. The color doesn’t suit her and the trad wife curls are looking mighty heavy.

Julianne Moore in Bottega Veneta

A head and a pair of arms. We think it’s fairly safe to assume that a Kering Foundation dinner will have a black backdrop on a vlack carpet (most fashion industry events do), so showing up in all-black is a choice, not a mistake.

Gorgeous dress in a great color for her. She could use a hair zhuzh.

Linda Evangelista

Very sharp, from what we can see.

Mariska Hargitay in Taller Marmo

Gorgeous. Love the color, love the buckle.

Salma Hayek Pinault in Balenciaga

Credit where it’s due: those ladies are effectively wrangled.

Get rid of the creeping fungus and this would be great.
