Queen Max is in Washington with Princess Amalia and she got all businesslike for the occasion (which is something of a royal theme today). The Queen is making a visit as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Security. She’s got books and binders, people. She’s also got a bold, bright suit that looks great on her.
It’s very Mommy & Me. The necklace is a lot of fun. We don’t mind the white top but it looks a little too much like a t-shirt to us. Interestingly, it’s the princess who has a more sober, mature approach. The navy blue looks great on her and we half-wonder if she isn’t deliberately dressing in red, white and blue for the occasion. Our only quibble is the eternal one with Max: get a bob or pull the hair back, because wearing it down never works for her.
