Is this theme-dressing? Because we don’t get what the theme is supposed to be. We reiterate our observation that it’s deeply weird the way co-stars are asked to pose on red carpet as if they were couples, especially when one of them’s dressed for a hurricane and has his hand on the other’s bare ass. We’re not offended by the sheerness of her dress and we have to give it credit for being the one thing we ask sheer dresses to be: interesting. Having said that, we think it’s wildly over-embellished. If you’re going to cover yourself in that much bling and that many gewgaws, why bother going sheer at all? As for him, we have no idea why he’d choose to dress that way. We like outerwear on red carpets, but only in cold-weather situations when the outerwear in question is interesting to look at. This is a standard trench coat. A nice one, to be sure, but he looks so weird standing next to her.
