And now, our Friday tradition of shoving our work onto you while we go record a podcast. Bonus: this time you get to judge a guy! Glen Powell came to the premiere of Chad Powers and we’ll be honest: you’re probably going to get mad at us for making you vote on this one.
Yeah, it’s kind of sloppy. Given his hair, and the fact that he manages his career and public image extremely tightly, the sloppiness is by design. He’s certainly the right kind of guy to work a little sexy casualness, but here’s the thing: a Brioni suit makes a particularly poor choice for that kind of style. We tend to like tone-on-tone, especially in menswear, so we’re kind of happy to see it here, as opposed to all of the monochromatic suit looks we’ve been subjected to this year. We realize it’s not how it’s worn in the look book, but we feel like this would work much better if he just buttoned up and wore a tie. As it is, we’re finding it too distractingly unkempt.
