Good Lady Cate is back on the Venice Film Festival red carpet and back on her bullshit. Said bullshit being the rewearing of outfits. The star came to the opening ceremony in Venice sporting the Armani gown she wore to the 2022 SAG Awards:
Aw, we’re just teasing the Good Lady. It’s not bullshit to be a little more sustainable and a little less wasteful when it comes to self-promotion; just a little boring for bitchy red carpet critics such as we. It’s a fantastic dress, but we have to be honest. This is how she looked the last time she wore it:
There’s not much denying that her hair, makeup and jewelry choices were all better and (this is the important part) more thoughtfully chosen the last time. It kind of works against the whole sustainability argument when you rewear a dress and come off looking worse than the first time you wore it. Obviously, she doesn’t look bad in the more recent shots, just a little less put together.
