Michelle Yeoh stepped out in LA for the premiere of her animated film Ne Zha II and boy, are you guys gonna be pissed off at her! We realize that such an idea might be completely alien to you; that you would somehow find fault with anything Michelle Yeoh decides to wear in public, but we can assure you — oh, you’ve scrolled down already. We’ll join you at the bottom, in your rage and shock.

We’re not mad! Are you mad? We are not going to sit her and pretend that Crocs are legitimate high-fashion items, even though this blingy pair is a collaboration between the brand and Simone Rocha. But a cartoon premiere allows for a little bit of looseness in the red carpet dress rules and besides, there’s an argument to be made that this particular pair is dressier than a pair of sneakers. We think they’re cute in a goofy sort of way. If anything, we feel like the rest of the outfit is a bit of an afterthought. She clearly wants to show off those things. Our only real critique of the look is just how sweaty and stinky her feet must’ve been by the end of the night. But at least she’s comfy.
