And now for a total sausagefest of a red carpet. Critiquing dudes in suits will never be our bread-and-butter because people generally just don’t care as much about what male stars are wearing as they do their female peers, but we’re committed to the bit; partially for reasons of fairness and partially for more mercenary reasons. i.e., to counter the complaint that we spend all day criticizing women. So to that end, let’s check in on what Chris Pratt, Taylor Kitsch and Tom Hopper wore to the premiere of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, a prequel we’ll never watch to a series we never heard of which sounds like a bunch of words you plaster all over an ad for male grooming products. Let’s get judgy!
CHRIS PRATT
Acceptable. We were going to call it generic, but we’re pleasantly surprised to see him working a subtle pinstripe. We don’t think the black shirt sets it off properly.
TAYLOR KITSCH
Great color combo, but the suit is too small on him and he needs a belt. Also, the grooming is terrible.
TOM HOPPER IN CANALI
Decent summer suit, good color choice for the shirt since it sets off his eyes, and excellent grooming, although he needs a lighter touch on the bronzer and dye. The watch is too big and clunky for a suit jacket.
ABOUT THE SERIES:
Co-created by The New York Times bestselling author of The Terminal List, Jack Carr, and Season One creator-showrunner David DiGilio, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is a prequel series with an origin story that follows “Ben Edwards” (Taylor Kitsch) throughout his journey from the Navy SEALs to the clandestine side of CIA Special Operations. The series is an espionage thriller that explores the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it. It also features Chris Pratt reprising his role as “James Reece.”
As with Season One of the runaway hit The Terminal List, authenticity is a core pillar of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf – with military veterans contributing as writers, actors, on-set technical advisors, and executive producers, the series is committed to portraying the mindset, brotherhood, and moral complexity of Special Operations with respect and realism.
Additional cast for the series include Tom Hopper as “Raife Hastings,” Robert Wisdom as “Jed Haverford,” Luke Hemsworth as “Jules Landry,” Dar Salim as “Mohammed Farooq,” Rona-Lee Shimon as “Eliza Perash,” Shiraz Tzarfati as “Tal Varon,” Jared Shaw as “Ernest ‘Boozer’ Vickers,” and more.
