The stars of Platonic came out for its second season premiere. No, we never heard of it either.
But we have heard of these folks and they all dressed up in very coordinated neutrals for the occasion, so we wouldn’t dream of letting their efforts go by without blessing them with our opinions.

It would be a perfectly fine look, but that ruffled bust is simply a terrible design element; one that tends to overwhelm the rest of the dress, probably because it’s fairly minimal in design aside from that and the almost equally as ill-considered bustbow. Could’ve been a cute, classic look, but someone got a little too clever in the design.
There is nothing to argue against here, although we do think the look is boring. If we’re being extremely nitpicky, we’d note that he looks a little pale and sweaty and that a little bit of bronzer wouldn’t be amiss.
It’s cutely simple and we don’t even mind the waist bow all that much. The hem length is probably better for pumps, but we’d have thought a pair of sandals would finish off a strapless dress better.
Even though he and Luke are more or less dressed identically, we think his version is much better because of the range of browns and because the linen gives the look a textural quality that makes it more photogenic.

The duo’s friendship becomes all consuming—and destabilizes their lives in a hilarious way. The ensemble cast also stars Luke Macfarlane, Tre Hale, Carla Gallo, and Andrew Lopez.
