At the LA premiere of The Pickup, Keke Palmer did all of the heavy lifting, Eddie Murphy kept it suave, and Pete Davidson was also in attendance.

Eddie’s always been fairly reliable on a red carpet and we can’t remember one instance of him being messy or disastrous in his choices, but even so: if he’s the best-dressed person at your premiere, something has gone awry.

Meet Mr. Awry. He is never going to get over Kim Kardashian making him go to the Met Gala, is he? Getting mad at this is boring to us. He is who he is. Our only point of critique is that the color looks awful on him. The grooming is surprisingly good.

She looks gorgeous from the neck up, but we can’t recall seeing such a dreary beaded gown. Nothing about the design works for us; not the color story, not the beading, and not the sheer panels, not the silk panels. It’s all pretty bad, although it might have been improved if it were rendered in a flattering color instead of all those grays.
