Given her longstanding interest in discussing and calling out ageism in Hollywood, and given her longstanding preference for basic, get-it-done fashion for her promotional work, we never could have predicted that Jamie Lee would enter a mini-dress period at this point in her life. But after years, if not decades of column gowns and pantsuits, she unveiled two above-the-knee frocks in the space of one promo tour and we have to say, we like this pleasant change of pace for her. The dress is fairly simple in shape and style, but we figure that’s what she’d want. She looks comfortable and confident in it and she can move around as much as she wants. It’s a good choice. We get why she’d choose the neutral pumps, but we think a colored pair would finish the look off a little better (and she needs to go up half a size).
