Kiki Layne, Charlize Theron and Uma Thurman, the stars of The Old Guard 2, came to the premiere to serve up very different takes on glamour.

Charlize Theron in Givenchy
We were so happy to see her in something other than her awkward Dior choices the other day, but with this particularly silly outfit, it’s time to admit that the problem with her red carpet style wasn’t Dior, it’s her own taste. The weird thing about her red carpet style is that we’ve always gotten the impression that she’s an unusually intelligent star who doesn’t particularly love being forced into a sex symbol box.
Uma Thurman in Prada
It’s time to say it with our manly chests: Prada is ruining its brand with a far-too-long succession of incredibly cheap-looking dresses. This design isn’t the worst thing we’ve ever seen, but it looks pretty dreary to us. The color is terrible for her and that thick band of contrasting fabric at the hem looks amateurish to us. It’s long past time for the house to refresh itself. This obsession with pale mid-century gowns isn’t paying off anymore.
Kiki Layne in Elisabetta Franchi
She looks gorgeous, but we don’t love the dress design all that much. We’ll give it credit for at least being an interesting take on the sheer skirt, but the embellishments are way too heavy. We’re pretty sure we’d like it a lot more without that creeping mold at the bottom.
We like to think they’re all laughing at Charlize’s outfit.
