Fountain of Youth star Natalie Portman came by The Late Show to chat up her new film and make the rather shocking style move to get away from her usual cutesy, princessy Dior style. Instead, she came in a cutesy Magda Butrym:

Hunh. The tights are the only part of this look that come off interesting and modern to us, although they seem kind of heavy for late spring. The dress is…. well, it’s cute, obviously; almost aggressively so. We hesitate to call it juvenile because how many little girls wear strapless cocktail dresses? But it does come off a little…we don’t know, silly? On the other hand, we’ve been complaining so much about ladystars showing up for talk shows in gowns that it makes a nice change of pace to see something cute and sassy, even if we don’t think it suits the wearer.
