First: we’re shocked to admit that we kind of love those shoes. We haven’t been feeling the high-vamp styles of late, but these are sharp and they particular well with an outfit like this, which is heavy, bold, and draws all the attention to itself. We love the color, shape and style of the pieces, but there’s too much bulk and bunching up around the waist. It ruins the lines.
AT THE LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS STUDIOS IN BRANDON MAXWELL
That is a whole lot of dress, but she’s a pro at working big fashion. We weren’t entirely sold on it until she switched out the shoes. Generally, we think “pop of color” shoes look a little dated, but they were a brilliant choice here, finishing the look of perfectly.
