Ryan Reynolds and Black Lively at the ANOTHER SIMPLE FAVOR New York Screening After-Party

After all their celebrity friends showed up for the Another Simple Favor screening in New York, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively headed to the after-party for this somewhat aggressively promoted film film. He opted to stay in the same sloppy suit, but she switched out her ugly dress for a slightly less ugly ensemble.

Like so many of her ensembles, it’s kind of okay at first glance, but starts looking goofier the longer you take it in. None of the yellows match, but they’re not far enough apart to be considered a good tone-on-tone take. The skirt’s okay, but we don’t love the t-shirt and the belt is both too tight and looks cheap. The gimmicky bag looks weird with an outfit like this one. Nothing’s terrible, but none of it pulls together as well as it should. She famously brags about not having a stylist, but it never seems to occur to her that it’s extremely obvious to everyone that she doesn’t use one. The finishing is never up to par.
