Meghan Duchess of Sussex sauntered onto the stage at the Time100 Summit in New York working her slouchy SoCal style to the hilt.
Looks like a winner to us. Sure, we’d quibble with the hem length (although the New York Times recently did a whole piece on how to wear your pants dragging along the ground, so it’s officially a trend) and we think the tuck on that shirt could be executed a little cleaner, but for the most part, all of this really works for her. It’s clearly very much her style, from the slouchy cut to the linen to the aggressively neutral color story. The styling is as close to impeccable as we’ve ever seen from her. The shoes and jewelry are really well chosen. She looks great. She’s much better off staying far away from anything that smacks of royalty and embracing the breezy styles she clearly prefers.
