Elle Fanning, how could you do this to us? After a decade of imploring you to seek contrast in your style choices, and after a full year of us bitching and moaning about the trend for peach and how no pale folks should ever wear it, you step out in… this?

Once again we ask, how could you do this to us? This is cruel, Elle. And the shame of it is, this design is actually pretty cute and well-suited to her — or it would be if it were in a darker or more vivid hue. A bright pink or even a black version of this would look great on her. Having said that, we don’t love the A-line skirt. We feel like this would work better with a column skirt. The hair clip is adorable. We CANNOT WAIT for those awful metallic slides to go back out of style. They will never not look like Nana’s house slippers to us.
