Lindsay Lohan and her fake mom Jamie Lee Curtis came to CinemaCon to preview their followup to 2003’s Freaky Friday, the perhaps inevitably titled Freakier Friday. They chose to make T Lo happy for the occasion.

Just a couple of longtime pros who know that walking out onto a presentation stage practically demands bold, bright outfits. We thank them for their service. They look great. Sure, Lindsay’s shoes are on the tacky side, but honestly, don’t we all want our Lindsay with a little bit of tacky? We’d likely be way more critical of these looks if they wore them on a premiere red carpet (Jamie’s got some fit issues, the accessorizing isn’t great and Lindsay’s dress looks a little cheap), but the point of outfits like these is to provide impact. The details matter less than that.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
“Freakier Friday,” a sequel to the beloved 2003 film with a multigenerational twist starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, will be released in theaters nationwide in 2025. In the film, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.
“Freakier Friday” is directed by Nisha Ganatra. The producers are Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, and Jamie Lee Curtis, with Nathan Kelly, Ann Marie Sanderlin, and Lindsay Lohan serving as executive producers.
