The cast of A Minecraft Movie got impressively dolled up for the London premiere. It may not surprise you that Jack Black was the exception.
Danielle Brooks (in Brian De Carvalho), Jennifer Coolidge (in Etro) and Emma Myers (in Rodarte)

It is perhaps also not a surprise to you that the ladies did most of the heavy lifting once again.

We kinda feel like this is a lot for a videogame adaptation, but all three of the actresses opted for grandeur here, so we suppose this was all part of a plan. This is just okay. The skirt is very dramatic, but the bodice doesn’t feel like it has anything to do with the rest of the design – and it looks unfinished, to boot.

There have been enough of them of late that we can safely consider it a trend, but we still think crop tops look a little odd with elaborate skirts like that, let alone with leg of mutton sleeves. The proportions just look goofy as hell to us. Still, it’s a gorgeous textile.

This looks great on her. We’re happy to see that she’s moved away from the constant rotation of body con frocks. Nothing wrong with getting a little tight dress action on when a gal wants to, but she hadn’t looked comfortable in them in years. Our only complaint is with the placement of that belt.
Jack Black

You can – and should – do better, Jack. Look, we get that he has a certain image to maintain and it’s not like this is all inappropriate for the occasion or unprofessional somehow. We wouldn’t expect to see him in a tux – or even in a suit. But we do think he could perhaps put slightly more effort in on the shirt and footwear choices.
Jason Momoa

The Momoa knows when he can get away with the Birkenstocks and goofy hats and when it’s time to dress with a little more consideration.
