SXSW 2025: Seth Rogen, Chase Sui Wonders, Catherine O’Hara, Ike Barinholtz, and Kathryn Hahn at THE STUDIO Premiere

Posted on March 11, 2025

PinSeth Rogen, Chase Sui Wonders, Catherine O’Hara, Ike Barinholtz, and Kathryn Hahn came to SXSW to promote their new series The Studio, which looks pretty hilarious. Did they also come to serve looks? Not exactly, but the important thing is that they had a good time. Haha, just kidding. The important thing is what they wore. It’s always the most important thing ’round these parts.

Okay, from the left: Seth’s suit is honestly great. We have no notes at all. Chase’s dress has some interesting blocking, but the ruffles are terrible and the textile looks chintzy. It’s funny how Catherine O’Hara came out of Schitt’s Creek with a newfound love of wearing black and white, a la Moira Rose. But she’s pale and the starkness of the choice works well for her. The skirt’s a little tricky, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Her outfit is the best one here. Ike’s suit is nice and we appreciate the non-corporate color. Or print shirt would have done wonders. Kathryn seemingly always runs to the worst possible options for her. That skirt is hideous.

ABOUT THE SERIES:
In “The Studio,” Seth Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their own insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him. “The Studio” assembles a star-studded ensemble cast that also includes Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award-winner Catherine O’Hara, Emmy Award nominee Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders. Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Dewayne Perkins will appear as major recurring guest stars.
Premiering globally Wednesday, March 26 on Apple TV+
