Whenever someone tells you the red carpet isn’t a competition, DON’T YOU BELIEVE IT, darlings! To that end, we’re pitting the stars against each other cage-match style once again. We make the picks for our faves, you vote on the winner. Thus is the most stylish woman in the world crowned, by an august body of Bitter Kittens.
Cynthia Erivo in Louis Vuitton
Tom’s defense: I mean, come on. Even without the knowledge that this design was a partial tribute to Hattie McDaniel, the first Black woman to win an Oscar, it’s just a stunning design that brought real drama to the Oscars red carpet and stood out among all of the sparkly body-con gowns. She took up space like a queen.
Halle Berry in Christian Siriano
Lo’s defense: This is the best she’s looked on a red carpet in like ten years. It’s the definition of dazzling and the execution of it is amazing. To me, this is what the Oscars is all about: pure, blinding fabulousness and star power wrapped up in the most fantastic fashion.
There you have it, kittens! Now go ahead and make that final call.
