The Brutalist star and Best Supporting Actress nominee Felicity Jones had herself a stylish BAFTAs weekend. She hasn’t been putting herself out there in front of cameras as much as some of the other Oscar nominees, so it’s nice to get a chance to assess how she’s navigating her campaign. She was never the most exciting dresser in the world, but when she’s on her game, she serves up consistently stylish, low-key elegant style.

We’ll never love a car wash skirt, but this is probably the best Chanel suit we’ve seen in a good while. Or maybe she’s just extremely well-suited to the style, which is, after all, not exactly fresh or trendy. The shoes are cute, but we tend to think ankle straps need either a higher or lower hem than that.

This is lovely. The petal effect on the skirt is an unexpected bit of elegance. We like that the styling has been kept fairly low key. Showy jewelry would have been a mistake here. We’re not loving the Demi Moore hair, however.
