As we noted the last time we covered him, Timothee Chalamet is deep into his Dudebro era, having switched out his more fashion forward jumpsuits and lacey tops for style that he presumably considers more relatable. We also promised to continue to tell him he looks like shit when he steps out looking like shit, so with that in mind…

You look like shit, Timmee. We honestly don’t mind or care if some male star wants to dress a little more conservatively if he feels the project he’s promoting warrants it. It wouldn’t make sense to show up for your Dylan biopic press tour in an open-backed jumpsuit or sheer metallic tank top, simply because that style just doesn’t feel right for the project being promoted and the potential audience – in this case, Boomers and classic rock fans – probably wouldn’t respond well to it. But this? This isn’t the way, Timmee. He’s trying to do relatable, low-key bro style while, but he also keeps trying to make some sort of visual statement with his choices, and the results wind up being muddled and ill-suited to him. The jacket’s great. Pairing it with dress pants, insurrectionist shades and heeled boots just looks goofy as shit.
