2025 New York Film Critics Circle Awards Red Carpet Rundown

A small gaggle of stars came to the New York Film Critics Circle Awards last night, most of them dressed soberly for the occasion. New York events tend to have more black than other red carpets, but Oscar campaigning is about to take a sudden somber and truncated turn because of the devastating California wildfires and we wonder if these folks opted to dial way down on the glamour in response.

There’s not much here to critique or assess. They look fine. She’s sporting one of those super-safe, borderline generic designs Marchesa has been limited to for the last few years.

It’s fine. The cutouts in the yoke really make the look. The style of bodice seems more suited to a shorter skirt, but that’s just us being nitpicky.

This is fantastic. It’s really great to see her ramping up on the fashion as her Oscar chances become more and more likely. Love the earrings. She seems to have a good sense of how to use shapes and volume for herself.
