We’re cleaning out our folders on a Saturday! Join us, won’t you? The stars – or some of them, anyway – came out in New York for the American Museum of Natural History Gala. It’s not the glitziest of affairs, but what the hell, it’s famous people posing in expensive clothes and that’s what we’re all about ’round these parts.

LOVE the jacket. The rest of it feels like an afterthought, although we don’t think a jacket like that should be fighting with other pieces, so he probably made the right choice. We just wish the shoes were a bit spiffier than that.

Perfectly lovely and appropriate for a New York museum gala. Our only quibble is that we’d have liked a little more in the way of jewelry. Not too much, but a simple piece with a colorful stone would do a lot to elevate the look.

It’s fine. He could’ve fucking shaved for the occasion.

Even though we think the colors are harsh and the pattern a bit too busy, we think this is perfect for her. It’s bold and a little clowny, but it’s also kind of chic and fun. Love the shoes and the mullet with it.

EXTREMELY gala-appropriate; almost a cliche of how people who go to galas in New York dress, but we can’t claim they look bad. We’re not crazy about her super-tight hair, however, and we don’t think that dress calls for a choker.
