Kraven the Hunter stars Ariana DeBose and Aaron Taylor-Johnson went for hottie/sleazy in their style choices for the New York premiere. We don’t mind the direction in theory, since they are both legitimate hotties, but the results weren’t so great.

Y’know, in a way, we’re impressed. This outfit manages to be flimsy enough to stuff into a change purse while also being a whole lot of look. In terms of “bang for your buck,” we suppose this ensemble can’t be beat. ON THE OTHER HAND (you knew it was coming), to our eyes, this look is SO TIRED. To repeat ourselves (ad nauseam): We don’t mind sheer dresses, so long as they’re interesting and pretty. This is just netting over underwear, with the saddest little bow you ever saw. As much as we’d love to see the drama of a net veil return to the red carpet, it looks silly here because it doesn’t match the net of the dress.

The jacket is a gorgeous shade that looks great on him. Everything else is an afterthought. He looks good, because it’s hard for him not to, but we like it better when he shows a little more thought in his style. Having said that, the chains are working. Keep the chains.
