We don’t know if The Agency stars Michael Fassbender and Jodie Turner-Smith coordinate their looks ahead of time for the series premiere, but one thing’s definitely for sure:

They have wildly different ideas about what constitutes a basic black suit.

These clothes look to be of fine quality and we like the shoes a lot, but that jacket is too blocky and square on him and pairing a navy shirt with a black suit is making yourself a fairly dull void for the cameras.

This is fabulous, of course. It’s also a fairly basic look. Aside from the interesting belt design, there’s nothing unexpected or eye-catching about the outfit except that she looks really great in it. Did it need that fantasy makeup job? Not really. We’d even argue that the style of beat doesn’t go all that well with the style of outfit, but it’s a pleasantly unexpected styling choice and it does tend to elevate the whole look.
