Demi Moore in Gucci at the LANDMAN London Photo Call

Since we’re looking to take a short break from all the gownery at the Wicked LA premiere, we thought it more than appropriate to check in on Miss Demi Moore, who is also taking a break from all the gownery. The star of the upcoming Landman series took a decidedly less glam than normal approach for the London photo call.

We don’t think we’ve ever seen her in a pair of jeans before. And if we did, they probably weren’t nearly as roomy as this pair. While this look has the kind of slightly relatable, vaguely countrified vibe that would seem appropriate for this project, it should be noted that she’s in the very latest Gucci, from head to toe. In other words, it only looks relatable. We love the jacket. We’re okay with the style of blouse but we semi-loathe that naive print. We can get behind slouchy jeans, but we hate the way this pair puddles around her ankles. The shoes look interesting but we can barely see them. It’s nice to see her shake up her style a little, but this sort of vaguely western aesthetic doesn’t really play well with that pin-straight hair. Time for a rethink on that front.
