THE LAST SHOWGIRL Star Pamela Anderson in Oscar de la Renta at the 2024 Glamour Women of the Year Awards

We love a gal who course-corrects. The Last Showgirl star Pamela Anderson continued her stroll on the prestige actress track by picking up a trophy at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. Good for her, but we’re shallow and we’re talking about her lip color.

And her other style choices, of course. This role has afforded her an opportunity to present herself on a bunch of red carpets that have largely been closed to her for decades. She’s been very open and consistent about wanting to face this period of her life without the trappings of glamour that nearly choked her earlier in her career. In other words, your girl wants no part of makeup or any other hot-girl stylings. We felt that she hadn’t quite come up with a game plan as to how to combine high-fashion red carpet looks with this kind of commitment to plainness, but this is pretty much exactly what we’d hoped for; a simple, clean design with just a hint of glam to go with the simple, clean styling of her face. We can’t say we love the color, but we do think pales and neutrals are the way to go, just as we think a softer pink lip is a must if she’s going to wear any lip color at all. She looks great. We might have recommended pulling her hair up or back.
