Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton
That’s the most elegant LV look we’ve seen in ages.
Ariana DeBose
She looks cute, but we hate the shape of the skirt.
Brett Goldstein, Imogen Poots and William Bridges
Imogen looks amazing. We’ve been seeing a return to autumnal colors this fall, which hasn’t really been the trend for several years. The guys look fine enough from the ankles up, but their shoes are perfect.
David Furnish and Elton John
They look very comfy and coordinated. Elton in particular has earned the right to relax his style a bit, although we’d never have predicted he’d enter a tan suit phase. David, do something about your crotch strings.
David Tennant and Cush Jumbo
She looks great in a very simple LBD. We know he loves these flamboyant suit styles, but this one doesn’t look all that great on him and it doesn’t coordinate well with the sweater.
Elliot Heffernan in Thom Browne
This will never not be a perfect look for a child star.
Emerald Fennell
Serious director-wear. We won’t ding her for it, but we do think it’s interesting when she opts to go glam and when she doesn’t.
Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton
Apologies for the not-great shot, but our photo agency only had pictures of her posing with her co-producer or standing with the entire cast of A Real Pain (of which she’s not a member). This was the only solo shot, but we felt we had to include it because it’s a pretty great dress.
Eva Longoria in Oscar de la Renta
Shower curtain.
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart
He’s acceptable. Her dress is quite chic.
HoYeon Jung in Louis Vuitton
It’s cute, but the color is terrible and it cuts into her.
Kieran Culkin
He’s one of those guys who should never wear a suit in a businesslike color. While the fit’s slightly off and he’s a little rumpled, he looks great.
Naomi Watts
Yellow is not your color, Naomi, so we’re puzzled as to why you’d wear two different (but not different enough) shades of it. The black shoes look awful with it.
Pharrell Williams
It’s a bit of a Nana jacket, but that’s kind of his thing. At least he coordinated it with his kicks.
Sacha Baron Cohen
We’ve only seen the first episode of Disclaimer (we’ll be talking about the first two on Monday’s podcast), but he plays one of the most insanely pretentious people we’ve ever seen on a TV show. This almost works, but the length of that sweater is terrible and it really should be in an espresso brown to tie the whole look together.
Drew Starkey
The look is fantastic on him and he lends everything he wears, no matter how impeccable, a dirty-hot vibe.
Tia Mowry in LaPointe
Certainly can’t argue with that.
