The stars came out for the season four premiere of Only Murders in the Building. Some of them came because they’re in it, some of them came because they want to get their picture taken, and most of them came to serve a look. Star Selena Gomez got a spotlight post, but it’s time to round the rest of these folks up and give them some good old-fashioned judgment.
Adina Porter

Well alright, then! Adina has apparently just arrived from 1972. Personally, it’s all feels borderline costumey to us. We could get behind the romper, but not with those boots. To be fair, the romper’s kind of weird too. The top half is overdesigned and the bottom half has… fit issues.
Chris Perfetti in Harbison Studio

He looks adorable and he looks like he knows it.
Da’Vine Joy Randolph in Mugler

Hmm. We love that she’s choosing pieces with a real edge to them, but we don’t think this design works all that well. We might be more convinced if the lining didn’t end so abruptly. Probably should’ve gone to the floor. The wig is, we’re sorry to say, terrible.
Jane Lynch

That jacket’s kind of sharp, but the mismatched blacks are causing our eyelids to twitch.
Kumail Nanjiani

Looks great, Love the colors.
Martin Short

Profesh and on point.
Steven Martin

The pants are a big no. They take the whole look down. The jacket and shoes are great. They deserved better.
Meryl Streep in Stella McCartney

They’re “just friends.” Sure. Okay. This is a standard Meryl dress in a lot of ways. The print’s nice, but that belt doesn’t go with it at all and those shoes look like she just wandered out of her hospital room.
Molly Shannon

Gets the job done. Can’t say it doesn’t work for her.
