Michael Keaton is moisturized and in fighting trim as he launches into the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice promo tour. He stopped by The Tonight Show to chat up the long-awaited sequel and to show off his new style, which we are compelled to dub Dandy Daddy.
Hmm. We may get some pushback on this, but we don’t quite love this for him. The ensemble is this slightly off combination of classic elderly man style and more youthful, trendier styles. Except that the trends in this case – skinny plaid pants and sockless loafers – are a little stale. Don’t get us wrong; he actually has a knack for working fairly youthful looks, which is why we probably wouldn’t have put him in a cardigan. It’s giving golf pro and we think he’s a little cooler and has a little more edge than that. On the other hand, if he wants to settle into the Pop-Pop wear, he’s entirely entitled to do so. The top half of the outfit looks great on him. Honestly, if he put on some socks and a pair of chinos, the whole look would improve.
