Morfydd Clark, Charlie Vickers, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Sophia Nomvete and Daniel Weyman
We were going to feature the cast of The Rings of Power at their SDCC panel, but they kinda dressed like crap for it and we couldn’t justify covering them. Fortunately, several members of the cast put on their church clothes for the press preview event. This being SDCC, the pictures do a lousy job of showing you their outfits, but we’ll do our best This is the only full-length shot of Morfydd Clark and while we still find black pumps to be dull and businesslike for any red carpet appearance, we don’t really have an alternative to offer, although she could’ve gone the witchy route and worn boots.
The details on the bodice are interesting and the sort of goth romance feel to it really suits her.
This is pretty perfect. The color, shape and volume really work for her. The earrings are well chosen and the hair looks great.
Gorgeous color, great shape and style for her, looks effortless (it wasn’t, of course). We don’t love the slingbacks, but we’re not mad at them. We’re surprised not to find the split sleeves annoying, because we tend to be a bit prickly about such tricky details.
Ismael Cruz Córdova and Sophia Nomvete
He loves those super-baggy pants. This all looks great. Love the sweater.
Charlie Vickers and Charles Edwards
Two Charlies in two great dressy-casual looks. Charlie Vickers could’ve used a belt, though.
Daniel Weyman
He could’ve put maybe a little more effort in, but then again, he spent the entire first season (and we’re assuming the second) covered in dirt and twigs, so maybe he figures he just has to show up showered. We will say that’s a covetable t-shirt, though.
Tyroe Muhafidin
Love the suit and the shoes. The neckerchief and shit support hose ruin it for him.
ABOUT SEASON 2:
Sauron has returned. Cast out by Galadriel, without army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will. Building on Season 1’s epic scope and ambition, Season 2 of Amazon’s THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER plunges even its most beloved and vulnerable characters into a rising tide of darkness, challenging each to find their place in a world that is increasingly on the brink of calamity. Elves and dwarves, orcs and men, wizards and Harfoots… as friendships are strained and kingdoms begin to fracture, the forces of good will struggle ever more valiantly to hold on to what matters to them most of all… each other.
