As reported, Princess Cathy made her second public appearance of the year, following up on her recent appearance at Trooping the Colour. As a royal patron of Wimbledon, it wasn’t likely that she would be skipping it this year, despite her health concerns. She took Princess Charlotte along for some support.
We admit to being a little shocked seeing her in a pair of contrasting, low-heeled slingbacks instead of the matchy high pumps she’s favored for most of the last decade. The dress is striking, but that bodice looks fussy and overdesigned to us. Still, it’s a pretty color, paying tribute to the club’s colors of purple and green. Love the big gold earrings and the Queen Elizabeth-style handbag.
