This is pretty fantastic. We might have suggested a second pass on the fitting, but considering that this is studded leather, the fit’s pretty impressive. Love those crazy boots.
Andra Day in Abodi
Sigh. She’s gorgeous and she can certainly work the hell out of this, but we miss the days when dresses were actual garments instead of these gimmicky things.
Blac Chyna
We’d have been okay with this except for those wacky shoulders.
Chlöe Bailey in Mônot
Flawless, although that halter strap looks like it’s ready to give up.
Flo Milli in Jean Paul Gaultier x Shayne Oliver
Fungal lace.
Halle Bailey
That is some damn impressively fitted leather. She looks amazing.
Ice Spice in Versace
Everything below the waist looks like out-of-control AI and the color clashes with the wig.
Jay Ellis
Boyfriend material.
Jessica Betts (in Hiromi Asai) and Niecy Nash-Betts (in Miscreants)
Jessica looks amazing. We’re sorry to report that Niecy’s dress does not fit her well. This is a shocking development because her fits are usually impeccable.
Lil Mo
Well, she committed to it, we’ll give her that. It’s certainly… cohesive. We can’t really offer any notes to an outfit as tackified as this one, but we have to admit, we do love the boots.
MC Lyte
It’s almost cute. It just feels like it’s missing something. We’d have rec’d showier and more statement-making accessories.
Meagan Good in Rizman Ruzaini
Meh. It’s okay. The makeup looks pretty harsh.
Mickey Guyton in Cult Gaia
This is such and awkward design, from the hem hitting at the worst spot to that bizarrely interrupted cheapass-looking chain.
Tia Mowry in Akris
This has a quiet elegance to it, but it’s a shame they couldn’t match the lining better.
Tinashe in Guvanch Agajumayev
A mess.
Tyla in Versace
We really like that flash of yellow at the bottom, but we don’t think it has anything to do with that studded leather top half. Also, sandals should not have distracting soles.
Wyclef Jean
Looks great. Smooth, cool and unbothered.
Yvette Nicole Brown in Daska
The fit and style are nice enough, but we find the print too busy and a little harsh.
