Wicked star Cynthia Erivo brought her usual flamboyance and exuberance to the Tonys red carpet. That’s perhaps a nice way of saying she’s doing just a little bit too much here.
The gown, while somewhat basic in design, is pretty damn fabulous. We realize her whole deal is going over the top, but the last thing this frock needed was some heavy jewelry. Ditch the necklace and the bracelet and she’d be just perfect.
