Loot star Maya Rudolph sported a gigantic satin suit on Jimmy Kimmel Live and we think we love it for her, even though our first impulse is to hate it.
Yes, it’s very shiny, too big on her, and an absolute void on TV – all things that we rail against for talk show outfits. But given her longstanding love of caftans, it’s clear she values and prioritizes comfort in her style and also likes to be a little quirky and dramatic about it. This checks off her boxes while having a little glam and sizzle to it. We think the value to her becomes most evident when you see her walking out in the clip below. She’s got real swag and confidence and she looks great. It still wouldn’t be our recommendation for most people and we don’t think it pops onscreen the way it should, but the style really works for her.
