Once again, the cast of House of the Dragon came out hard (if not necessarily good) for a premiere. This time, the location was Paris, although the style wasn’t exactly ooh-la-la, if you know what we mean. Let’s assess!
Eve Best in Dolce & Gabbana
This is pretty great, although we’re surprised to see the cast is still coming out in all-black outfits, knowing that they’ll be standing on an all-black setting.
Ewan Mitchell in John Lawrence Sullivan
We were hoping to avoid too much green/black theme dressing, but we are absolutely in favor of more leather chaps on the red carpet, even if this is a goofy look.
Fabien Frankel
He always gets the shoe wrong. Those are pretty dingy looking. The rest of the look is fine. Love the tie.
Harry Collett in Paul & Joe
We’re pretty ready for flared pants to go away again.
Matthew Needham
A lot of sad fits with this crowd. It looks like he just pulled this suit out of the dryer.
Olivia Cooke in Givenchy
A bizarre combination of sexy and drab. Like lingerie made out of lint.
Phia Saban in Dior
This is pretty great but we need to see some feet.
Rhys Ifans
A bit too much of a fancy priest vibe for our liking, but it’s not terrible. Just wrinkled.
Steve Toussaint
We have no issues with this, except for the sleeves being too short. Also, it’s not the worst thing in the world, but we think double-breasted pinstriped suits pretty much require a tie.
Tom Glynn-Carney
It’s kind of ironic that he’s on a Game of Thrones spinoff and he dresses like a gay hobbit. That is absolutely not a read. We don’t think we can get behind the cravat situation, but this is a cutely offbeat look.
