Cannes Film Festival 2024: Heidi Klum in Saiid Kobeisy Couture at the Opening Ceremony

We’ve spent nearly two decades having a good laugh at Heidi Klum’s preference for the tiny and tacky when it comes to her style, and after all that time, we can say two things about her with utter certainty; first, that she’s never heard of us and subsequently pays no attention whatsoever to our burbling, and second, that despite our tittering and snark, the lady can turn it out when she needs or wants to. Case in point:

It’s not award-winning, eye-popping or envelope-pushing fashion. If we want to be nitpicky, we’ll note that the bust is too small from both a fit and proportions perspective and that the hair seems borderline casual. But it’s delivering exactly what’s required of all of the models invited to Cannes every year: a red carpet moment of seemingly effortless glam. The color looks fantastic on her.
