Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga stars Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy headed to the beach after a successful Cannes premiere and served up more looks, as is the tradition.
We remain deeply, profoundly grateful that neither of them seem remotely interested in dressing in character or in order to support a theme. We love drag, we love costume design, and we love fashion, but they don’t always have to blended in order to serve a look. We’re just saying. Chris is dressed here almost identically to how he dressed as co-host of the Met Gala last week, which is why our expectations for him remain low. He’s going to continue to sport the Hot Aussie Guy uniform and we’ll just thank him for wearing pink and move on.

This, on the other hand, isn’t really working for us, although we appreciate the drama of it. If you check the runway shot below, you can see that this was not an ensemble devised for wearing anywhere near a beach or in warm weather. To be fair, we don’t love the runway look, but it makes slightly more sense than a tweed crop top. We appreciate the weirdness of the look, but it looks mostly goofy to us.
