Francis Ford Coppola’s already much discussed would-be magnum opus Megalopolis had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and star Aubrey Plaza took the opportunity of the occasion to deliver an odd little look, as she is prone to doing now and then.
That thing on her skirt looks like something you wear under an extremely elaborate hairstyle. Alternately, it looks like something you wear under a skirt. Maybe she forgot to put the real skirt on over it. Nah. It’s just Loewe. It’s like someone took a look at a classic 1940s screen siren getup and asked “How can we fuck this up?” We appreciate the oddness of it, but that side view is not selling us on it. And while the jewelry is pretty, it doesn’t seem to do much for the look. We’re mostly disliking this, but we’re gonna throw it out to you to make the final call. Try not to draw too much blood.
